The Seminar was presided by Prof. T. Rajasekharan Pillai.Dr.N.Ramalingam, Associate Professor, Gulathi Institute Sreekaryam, TVM was the resource speaker.

Higher education in the UKPost Graduate Department of Commerce in association with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC) had Organized an orientation programme on“Higher Education in the UK” in online mode on 24th May 2021. The session was handled by Ms. Teresa Jacobs, Executive Director – Learning & Development - ISDC. The session was intended to get the participants informed about higher education in the famous UK universities.

Techniques to Gear up for UGC NETCommerce, Christ Nagar College, Maranalloor The PG Department of had conducted a webinar on the topic “Techniques to Gear up for UGC NET”. The webinar is mainly conducted with the objective of motivating PG students in order to achieve UGC NET. Webinar was held on 15th July 2020 at 2:30pm to 3:30 pm. Dr. Vinod A S. , Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Research Centre, Mahatma Gandhi College, Trivandrum was the resource person.

Hypothesis in Research 'Panic to Pivot' A talk on HYPOTHESIS IN RESEARCH ‘PANIC TO PIVOT’ was organized by PG Dept of Commerce, as co ordinated by Mrs. NIMYA MP on18th June 2020 from 2.00pm to 3.30 pm. Dr. BIJU. A.V., the resource speaker and Assistant professor, Department of Commerce, University of kerala, Kariavattom Campus, gave a magnificent speech on the topic. The webinar was designed to provide insight and understanding regarding key concepts of hypothesis in research. The webinar was well attended by university lecturers, research scholars, post graduate students and academicians.

Alumni Talks

EPISTEME was organized on 10th march 2021 to impart an insight into the process of research. Research Scholar Swalih M.M, University of kerala was the resource speaker. The research speaker gave an elaborate idea on introduction to research; developing paper, report, project proposal writing, presentation skills; avoiding plagiarism; ethics in research; ICT Tools for research; integrating teaching and research; finding funding agencies for research grants; creative thinking and research.

ODIGIA linking campus to career was organised on 29-3-2021 to impart knowledge regarding resume preparation and how to attend interviews and the ways in which a job seeker can approach a particular firm and impart a good impression on the interview panel.
