Heartfelt greetings!

I am pleased to welcome you all to this vibrant institution of learning.

With the blessings of God Almighty and the intercessions of our founder St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Christ Nagar College could successfully complete an eventful decade. The legacy left by the great visionary, inspired his disciples to follow his path and to try innovative methods in education and social reforms. The students who complete their Graduation or Postgraduation from here are equipped to face the challenges of the time and emerge successful. Though the pandemic years have made a temporary hiatus in the progress of the institution, the ebullience and the enthusiasm of the staff members and the unstinting support of the management helped the institution traverse through all the adversities. To rev up the spirit of the students and the general public, the different departments of the college have organised various cultural, literary and informative programmes even during the lockdown period. We find an opportunity in every adversity and inculcate in our students, qualities like empathy, compassion and tolerance. As the Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6), we believe that the right lessons given at the right time will help the students make their lives meaningful.
