The Student Support Cells in the College have been constituted keeping in mind the welfare of the students and to extend continuous help to them. These cells are designed as a focal point for solving students’ problems and enhancing their academic performance. The Cells are structured by an administrative committee consisting of the College management and teachers. All the students of the college have the right to approach any of these Grievance Cells with their complaints. The matters presented will be looked into, in complete detail and swiftly resolved. The Cell supports academic and professional success by promoting students’ critical thinking, effective communication skills and creativity.
The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted in the college in order to prevent ragging on the campus and to take effective anti-ragging measures as per the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India and UGC.
The aim of the cell is to ensure an entirely ragging-free environment on the campus, create awareness of the dehumanising effect of ragging, and ensure that no act of ragging shall go unnoticed and unpunished.
In pursuance of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 08-05-2009 in Civil Appeal No. 887/2009 the UGC had notified “Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009”.
As per the order of The Supreme Court of India and subsequent University Grants Commission (UGC Regulation), ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts:

Centre for Gandhian Studies focuses on the life, philosophy, and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, the iconic leader of India's independence movement. At the core of the centre’s mission is the exploration of Gandhian principles and their relevance in contemporary society. The centre often organizes seminars, quizzes, debates, literary competitions, workshops, and conferences to facilitate scholarly discussions and foster a deeper understanding of Gandhian thought.. In addition to academic pursuits, the Centre for Gandhian Studies may also engage in outreach activities, collaborating with communities to implement Gandhian ideals in practical ways.
Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted with the objectives of redressing the grievances of the students and the staff. The Cell is structured with an administrative committee known as Internal Grievances & Anti-sexual Harassment Committee which primarily aims to prevent any form of gender violence, sexual harassment, and discrimination on the basis of gender.
The Committee will hear and examine complaints and grievances; inquire into the grievance and make recommendations towards the complaints brought in front of it so that such incidents are not repeated. It also conducts various gender sensitisation programmes to create awareness on this matter.
The Disability Grievance Cell ensures effective and objective grievance redressal mechanisms for careful and sensitive handling of grievances from differently-abled students. The cell not only addresses the grievances but also empowers the disabled students by providing a conducive atmosphere and thereby tries to impart inclusive education in the college. The committee also gives suggestions and inputs to make the campus more disabled friendly.

SC/ST/OEC Cell has been set up for the redressal of the grievances of the SC/ST/OEC students and staff as per the University order dated 23/03/2021 and also to empower the SC/ST/OEC students in the College.
The aim of this cell is to ensure gender equity among the students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The effective implementation of equity measures eliminates any chance of discrimination against individuals or groups
Women Study Unit Fille Pouvoir was started on March 2013 as an initiative to empower the women of our college. The cell was inaugurated by K.C. Rosakutty, the then Chairperson of Kerala Women’s Commission.
The objective of the cell is the overall development of women students through organising various academic, cultural and social events for the upliftment of women.
The Cell has both the female faculty and female students of the college as its members and works with the aim to create a gender sensitised community within the campus as well as in the society.
A recreation room solely for Women was opened on the college campus. Sanitary Pad vending machine and Incinerator (both non-power based) were installed as part of Women’s Study Unit.

The session was focussed on the wellbeing and fitness of the Female health , its dos’s and dont’s , with an emphasis on hygiene
Students were given tips on the need for hygiene by the speaker. The session was of current relevance and most useful for these busy times of life
A food festival was conducted that brought out different flavour to the taste buds which lingered in the minds and palettes of all. The inclusion of Traditional flavours and New Gen flavours made the students think about the varied culture in our country .The Crafts works created by the Girl students of the college were displayed for sale. The students got a series of information on how to create such works and bring out their creative capabilities.
The ASAP Cell ensures the smooth conduct of the Additional Skills Acquisition Programme (ASAP) initiative funded by the Higher Education Department of Kerala launched with the intention of providing the students an opportunity to acquire additional skills alongside their usual curricular work. The objective of the programme is to augment the employability of the youth and thereby find a way to mitigate the problem of unemployment in the state.
Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cells (RED Cell) are set up by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, which strives to promote resilient rural India through Higher Education interventions. RED Cell started its functioning in the college in 2021. It aims to motivate the students to explore untapped rural resources and opportunities available in the zone. It also nurtures the students to become successful rural entrepreneurs for the balanced regional development.
Innovation and Incubation Centre, Research Wing, has been set up in 2018 to seek and promote innovative techniques from the young researchers (students) of our college in the fields of science, arts and technology. The centre not only focuses on creating a sound research-oriented consciousness in the minds of students but also indulges in hosting various seminars, workshops, different types of outreach programmes to motivate the students to enter into new research models.
