Many of the solutions to the problems that we face today lie in the method in which we handle them. So today’s fast changing and competitive world needs efficient managers with good decision making power and other managerial skills to solve the critical problems and lead our country to the list of developing nations .The Management association aims at simulating many of the real situations and proper training is given to the students to act in such situations. The exposure that we give them will empower them to face the challenges of the 21st century. ABATS was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. K M Francis (Former Principal, Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum) on 18 March 2014.

The resource speaker was Mr Rakesh Rajeev, Director, T.I.M.E., Trivandrum.

‘Group Discussion’ (Soft skill series), - The Department of Management Studies organised a Workshop on ‘Group Discussion’ for the second year BBA students on 21 March 2022 at Board room from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Dr Sonny Jose, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Social Work, Loyola College of Social Science was the resource person.

‘Consumer Protection in Digital Economy’ – The Department of Management Studies organized a seminar on ‘Consumers Protection in Digital Economy’ and the students performed a mime and a song to raise awareness about consumer rights as part of World Consumer Rights Day Celebration on 15 March 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. The resource person was Advocate Manoj Pillai, Managing Partner, Manoj and Chitra Law Firm.

‘Savoir-Faire’ (Soft skill series) – Savoir-Faire, a soft skill development programme was organised by ABATS under the Department of Management Studies in association with the IQAC on 07 March 2022 at Chavara Chamber. Mr Anand R Nair, an eminent trainer in soft skills development and an Assistant Professor and Executive Officer at Conspi Academy of Management Studies was the resource speaker.
