The Shaw Must Go On! – Dramatic Tribute to George Bernard Shaw
The Postgraduate Department of English, in association with IQAC and the Drama Club, organised “The Shaw Must Go On!”, a dramatic tribute to George Bernard Shaw, on 3 September 2026 at 11 am at Chavara Chamber.
The programme featured “Staging George Bernard Shaw: Key Scenes, Condensed,” a student-led enactment of selected scenes from Shaw’s plays.
The programme provided students with an engaging platform to explore literature through performance while fostering literary appreciation, creativity, teamwork, and confidence. The performance also showcased Shaw’s wit, social criticism, and theatrical vision on the stage.
The programme was aligned with SDG 4 – Quality Education.
